Business Intelligence Analyst
Adaptive Solutions Group is a premier provider of information technology personnel. We provide a variety of technical professionals available for contract, contract-to-hire, or direct placement positions to companies in and around the St. Louis and Kansas City areas.
We are currently seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team.
Responsibilities :
Develop operational and automated reports and interactive dashboards using Power BI.
Design and test Power BI graphical and visualization solutions using various data sources.
Create scripts and ETL packages to move data from source applications to BI platforms.
Extract data from and to cloud-based systems using JSON, web API, and other tools.
Maintain and support day-to-day data visualization needs using data analytics platforms.
Stay up to date with broader data and technology strategies available in the market.
Required Qualifications :
Strong experience with Power BI, including Power BI Premium or Embedded.
Expertise in SQL, PL / SQL, and Python, with a strong track record of optimizing Power BI models.
Ability to write advanced and complex SQL queries, with a focus on performance tuning.
Experience troubleshooting data issues and working with various teams to resolve complex problems.
Proven ability to understand complex business rules and build integration processes.
Strong understanding of ETL fundamentals and solutions.
Experience developing data analytics and visualizations from multiple formats to uncover insights.
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience with Azure Databricks, Visual Studio, Azure Data Factory, or similar technologies.
Familiarity with cloud-based architectures such as Databricks, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Data Factory.
Experience with version control systems (preferably Git).
Background in creating technical documentation, including functional requirements and technical design documents.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
