Quality Assurance Analyst
Adaptive Solutions Group is a premier provider of information technology personnel. We provide a variety of technical professionals available for contract, contract-to-hire, or direct placement positions to companies in and around the St. Louis and Kansas City areas.
We are currently looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team.
Responsibilities :
Actively participate in agile scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.
Lead the formation and continuous evolution of quality assurance testing standards, ensuring alignment with best practices.
Assess applications and systems under consideration to ensure they meet functional and organizational requirements.
Analyze documentation and technical specifications to determine intended functionality.
Conduct internal audits to verify adherence to established quality assurance standards.
Create and execute test plans and scripts to ensure optimal application performance.
Identify and document defects, configuration issues, and interoperability flaws.
Collaborate with software and systems personnel to conduct various types of testing, including system, unit, regression, load, and acceptance testing.
Assist in developing and implementing change control processes and best practices.
Provide mentorship and training to junior QA team members. Required Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, accounting, or management information systems, or equivalent experience.
3 years of related work experience in Information Technology or a combination of education and experience.
Hands-on experience with manual and automated testing of software applications.
Knowledge of system testing methodologies and best practices.
Experience working within agile project teams.
Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and automated testing software (e.g., Selenium).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications :
Relevant industry certifications such as CSTP, CSTA, CFTL, or CTAL.
Experience with statistical reporting and analysis.
Familiarity with data privacy regulations and compliance standards.
Proficiency in SQL, Visual Studio, and Microsoft Office Suite.
