Systems Administrator III
Adaptive Solutions Group is a premier provider of information technology personnel. We provide a variety of technical professionals available for contract, contract-to-hire, or direct placement positions to companies in and around the St. Louis and Kansas City areas.
We are currently looking for a Systems Administrator III to join our team.
Responsibilities
Establish and manage technology infrastructure, including hardware, networks, operating systems, systems middleware, and telecommunications.
Document, monitor, and maintain network infrastructure while implementing improvements.
Build and maintain relationships with internal leadership, business teams, IT staff, and external vendors.
Serve as an escalation point for diagnosing complex network and server issues, identifying root causes, and developing remediation strategies.
Assist in managing the server environment, including creating virtual machines, upgrading management software, troubleshooting infrastructure, and monitoring resource usage.
Understand business requirements and effectively design, communicate, and implement technical solutions.
Provide technical guidance, knowledge sharing, and mentorship to peers as needed. Required Qualifications
5 years of experience in Information Technology with a focus on IT infrastructure and networking.
3 years of experience designing, configuring, installing, maintaining, and tuning LAN / WAN infrastructure.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Server operating systems, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
Solid understanding of TCP / IP networking, DHCP, WINS, and DNS network services.
Experience managing backups and disaster recovery solutions, preferably with Veeam Backup and Replication.
Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server administration.
Knowledge of SAN and storage architecture.
Understanding of wireless networking, including troubleshooting and best practices.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
Excellent problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills.
Ability to adapt to fast-paced, changing environments while maintaining attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications
CCNA or comparable industry certification.
Experience in a multi-domain, geographically dispersed environment.
