Senior Quality Assurance Analyst
Adaptive Solutions Group is a premier provider of information technology personnel. We provide a variety of technical professionals available for contract, contract-to-hire, or direct placement positions to companies in and around the St. Louis and Kansas City areas.
We are currently seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team.
Responsibilities :
Develop and execute manual and automated test cases for regression and new functionality testing.
Conduct back-end, API, and integration testing.
Define and promote test automation best practices, standards, and processes.
Create and maintain test data sets for automation activities.
Document and review testing results, working closely with developers and business analysts to resolve reported issues.
Configure and manage testing environments for successful testing outcomes.
Ensure alignment with project timelines and actively participate in Agile development cycles.
Maintain high-quality standards in all deliverables, including software, test cases, bug reports, automation plans, and documentation.
Become a subject matter expert on existing and new features to improve testing coverage and troubleshooting.
Analyze and enhance test coverage by identifying gaps in existing test cases. Required Qualifications :
Strong experience in writing detailed test cases.
Expertise in functional testing methodologies.
Experience with automation frameworks and scripting for test automation.
Familiarity with back-end, API, and integration testing.
Ability to work independently and proactively drive testing initiatives.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Preferred Qualifications :
Experience in Agile development environments.
Knowledge of best practices in software quality assurance and test automation.
Familiarity with software deployment and configuration for testing purposes.
