Job Overview : Responsible for designing and developing software solutions for a legacy PHP program. Work with architectural patterns like MVC to create robust, scalable business solutions. Looking for a senior resource to help modernize a legacy PHP environment that has grown over the last 2 decades.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Designing and implementing software architecture using PHP and related technologies.
  • Writing, testing, and organizing code in accordance with programming principles.
  • Developing plugins and components for applications.
  • Ensuring code quality and maintainability.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Extensive knowledge of PHP and experience in software development.
  • Professional PHP certification is often preferred.
  • Technical proficiency in MySQL, JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, and familiarity with Drupal administration.

  • High-level (15 years) programming skills and experience with PHP frameworks.
  • Strong analytical abilities and technical expertise.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
