The Opportunity...
The Repair Cell Service Technician evaluates and repairs electrical or electronic equipment, such as airfield lights and other related airfield equipment.
You will make an impact by....
- Inspecting or testing wiring installations, assemblies, or circuits for resistance factors or for operation and record results.
- Assembling electrical or electronic systems or support structures and install components, units, subassemblies, wiring, or assembly casings, using rivets, or bolts.
- Adjusting, repairing, or replacing electrical or electronic component parts to correct defects and to ensure conformance to specifications.
- Cleaning parts, using cleaning solutions, air hoses, and cloths.
- Reading and interpreting schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reports to determine materials requirements or assembly instructions.
- Marking and tagging components so that stock inventory can be tracked and identified.
- Packing finished assemblies for shipment and prepare them for transport to storage areas.
- Collaborating with supervisors or engineers to plan, review work activities, resolve troubleshooting and/or repair problems.
- Distributing materials, supplies, or subassemblies to work areas.

- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
- One to two years related experience or training a plus.
- Must possess good communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Proficient with computer systems and comfortable learning various programs.
