As a Civil Aviation Engineer/PM, you will be responsible for the planning, design, construction, and maintenance of aviation infrastructure such as airports, terminals, runways, taxiways, and other facilities. You will ensure that all aviation infrastructure meets safety, regulatory, and operational standards.

As a Civil Aviation Engineer/PM, you will be responsible for the planning, design, construction, and maintenance of aviation infrastructure such as airports, terminals, runways, taxiways, and other facilities. You will ensure that all aviation infrastructure meets safety, regulatory, and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and Planning:
- Design airport terminals, runways, taxiways, aprons, and other aviation facilities.
- Develop detailed plans, drawings, and specifications for new construction and renovation projects.
- Conduct studies and site assessments to determine the most efficient layout and configuration.
- Construction and Project Management:
- Oversee and manage construction projects, ensuring that they meet budget, timeline, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with contractors, construction teams, and other engineers.
- Monitor the construction site for safety compliance, and implement quality control measures.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure that all airport infrastructure projects comply with aviation safety standards and regulations.
- Work with government agencies to obtain necessary approvals and permits.
- Collaborations:
- Collaborate with other engineering professionals, architects, and aviation experts to deliver comprehensive solutions.
- Liaise with local authorities, environmental agencies, and regulatory bodies regarding aviation projects.
- Research and Development:
- Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and innovations in civil aviation engineering.
- Research and apply new materials, construction techniques, and technologies to improve efficiency and safety in aviation infrastructure.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Aviation Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional engineering license (PE) or equivalent certification.
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, airport design, and aviation regulations (FAA, ICAO).
- Experience with airport construction, runway/taxiway design, and transportation systems.
- Proficiency in engineering software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc.).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
- Prefer 10 years of experience in civil aviation engineering, preferably in airport design.
- Experience with large-scale infrastructure projects and working within the aviation industry is highly desirable.
- Primarily office-based with occasional site visits to construction or airport facilities.
- Ability to work in outdoor environments, sometimes in adverse weather conditions.
- Flexibility for occasional travel to various airport locations.
