Key Responsibilities
Appointment Management :
Manage design appointments and maintain the calendar to optimize schedules for designers and clients.
Product Pricing :
Assist designers in pricing special order products to ensure accurate and timely preparation for client proposals.
Client Communication :
Maintain regular communication with clients to address inquiries, provide updates, and ensure a positive customer experience.
Design Aid Creation :
Collaborate with designers in creating design aids such as mood boards and AutoCAD drawings to visualize concepts for clients.
Visual Merchandising Support :
Assist the Merchandising Department in enhancing the visual appeal of retail floors, ensuring alignment with design intentions.
Research :
Conduct research on materials, furniture, and accessories to support ongoing design projects and provide valuable insights to the team.
Project Organization :
Maintain organized project files and documentation to ensure easy access to information for team members.
Effective Communication :
Communicate effectively with vendors, contractors, and clients as needed to facilitate project progress and resolve issues.
Administrative Support :
Assist the team with administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings and managing project timelines to ensure all deadlines are met efficiently.
Qualifications
Relevant experience in design, preferably in a retail or interior design setting.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
