Adcole manufactures exclusively in Massachusetts for shipment to customers in the US and around the world.

Position Summary

The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that they can perform the essential functions of the job:

  • Collaborates with other departments and stakeholders to identify and maintain resources needed to establish and provide an effective supply chain.
  • Establishes performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of factors affecting the supply chain.
  • Directs production and inventory control, shipping and receiving, and materials storage.
  • Analyzes current inventories and procedures; suggests improvements to increase efficiency of the supply chain and profitability for the company.
  • Supervises, evaluates, and coaches staff members.
  • Coordinates with others on the planning and forecasting of customer orders to meet shipment deadlines.
  • Monitors the performance of suppliers, assessing their ability to meet quality and delivery requirements; identifies and qualifies new suppliers in collaboration with other departments.
  • Maintains relationships and negotiates with suppliers.
  • Direct involvement with the ERP, analyzing MRP, and managing materials requirements for supply and demand.
  • Ensures that company standard practices and procedures are followed in connection with all materials department functions.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Reports to: Director of Operations


Qualification Standards

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a similar field (preferred).
  • 5 years of experience in a supply chain role with a manufacturing company.
  • In-depth knowledge of supply chain and inventory management systems.
  • Understanding of forecasting and budgeting.
  • Knowledge of ERP and MRP2 Processing; Syteline/Infor experience preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Proven managerial experience.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.

Salary : $110,000 - $135,000
