Position Summary
The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that they can perform the essential functions of the job:
- Collaborates with other departments and stakeholders to identify and maintain resources needed to establish and provide an effective supply chain.
- Establishes performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of factors affecting the supply chain.
- Directs production and inventory control, shipping and receiving, and materials storage.
- Analyzes current inventories and procedures; suggests improvements to increase efficiency of the supply chain and profitability for the company.
- Supervises, evaluates, and coaches staff members.
- Coordinates with others on the planning and forecasting of customer orders to meet shipment deadlines.
- Monitors the performance of suppliers, assessing their ability to meet quality and delivery requirements; identifies and qualifies new suppliers in collaboration with other departments.
- Maintains relationships and negotiates with suppliers.
- Direct involvement with the ERP, analyzing MRP, and managing materials requirements for supply and demand.
- Ensures that company standard practices and procedures are followed in connection with all materials department functions.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Reports to: Director of Operations
Qualification Standards
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a similar field (preferred).
- 5 years of experience in a supply chain role with a manufacturing company.
- In-depth knowledge of supply chain and inventory management systems.
- Understanding of forecasting and budgeting.
- Knowledge of ERP and MRP2 Processing; Syteline/Infor experience preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Proven managerial experience.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.

Salary : $110,000 - $135,000
