Salary : $17.50 BOE
The Certified Nursing Assistant provides direct patient care under the supervision of licensed nursing staff, assisting patients with activities of daily living, monitoring health status, and maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for patients in their homes.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Current certification as a Nursing Assistant in Wisconsin
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Current CPR and First Aid certification
Successful completion of WisCaregiver Careers program
Physical ability to perform essential job functions
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in home health care
Experience with electronic health records
Additional healthcare certifications
Bilingual skills
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Patient Care
Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs)
Perform personal care tasks according to care plan
Monitor and record vital signs
Observe and report changes in patient condition
Assist with ambulation and transfers
Follow infection control protocols
Documentation
Document care provided accurately and timely
Report changes in patient condition to supervisor
Complete required forms and reports
Maintain patient confidentiality
Safety and Environment
Maintain clean and safe environment
Follow proper body mechanics
Use appropriate personal protective equipment
Report safety concerns promptly
Communication
Interact professionally with patients and families
