WHAT ARE THE SPECIFICS OF THE JOB?
- First point of contact and representative of both the community and company.
- Answer phones, reply to emails, and greet customers in a professional and gracious
manner. - Lease apartments - respond to initial inquiries, tour vacant apartments, pre-qualify
potential applicants, and maintain follow-up with prospective residents. - Process applications - accept rental applications, all required paperwork, necessary funds,
submit for credit and criminal background checks, perform rental verifications, vet
against qualification criteria. - Submit to Community Manager for final approval and communicate approval/denial to
applicants. - Create and maintain complete and accurate resident files (physical and digital) including
ongoing documentation of conversations and resident activity. - Inspect vacant apartments for move-in readiness and communicate deficiencies to
appropriate team member(s) for correction prior to scheduled move-in. - After inspection, when needed, resolve deficiencies (light housekeeping, replace light
bulbs, etc.). - Maintain accurate and specific knowledge of community features, benefits, pricing,
availability, and policies as well as the same for other communities (comps) in the local
market. - Maintain accurate and specific knowledge of local neighborhood(s) and community at-
large (shopping, schools, public transportation, etc.). - Address and document communication of customer concerns, escalating to Community
Manager as appropriate. - Assist with the organization of and attend community and company functions.
- Perform other duties as directed and assist with overall team and company efforts.
REQUIREMENTS
- 1 years of previous experience as a Leasing Consultant preferred
- Strong decision-making skills and a positive approach to problem-solving
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
- Proficiency in Microsoft / Google systems
- Valid and non-expired driver's license, insurance, along with reliable transportation
- Lift up to 50lbs when necessary to perform routine office tasks

Salary : $17 - $18
