Mechanical Engineer
Adden Energy is developing solid-state batteries for automotive and consumer applications and is located in the Boston Area. Our technology is based on leading research from Harvard University and our team is backed by prominent venture capital investors.
We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our growing technical team and work to scale our technology. As a key member of our team, you will make a substantial impact on the companys future and set the stage for how we build batteries for years to come as we work to make a positive impact on climate change.
What you get to do :
- Design and develop pilot scale electrode coating and cell assembly tools based on the companys cell technology
- Design the tools and analyze the concept using CAD software such as Solidworks
- Work with external suppliers to customize the equipment based on manufacturing processes
- Set up and validate pilot scale slurry mixer, electrode coater, and other cell fabrication equipment
- Maintain, modify, and optimize the equipment with vendors guidelines
