The Role
The Product Manager is responsible for supporting Addepar's calculations infrastructure and functionality. The Product Manager will support the calculations and computational architecture teams in defining feature requirements, generating examples, answering queries from support, sales, clients and prospects, and testing new features and enhancements
Addepar takes a market-based approach to pay. A successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on the role, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base salary for roles in Colorado, California, and New York.
The current range for this role is $122,000 - $190,000 bonus equity benefits.

What You’ll Do
- Possess a deep knowledge of common financial calculations, including derivatives, asset valuation, investment performance and risk metrics
- Research, define and scope new calculations and computational infrastructure development work, including producing easy to understand examples to assist developers
- Perform correctness testing on new calculations and calculation enhancements, including thorough validation of different combinations of calculation options and layering intersecting functionality
Who You Are
- 5 years of relevant work experience and education that show strength in financial calculations
- Experience working with highly technical product development teams, with the ability to comprehend technical complexity and make intelligent decisions with the input from developers
- Domain knowledge / expertise regarding finance / investments, particularly regarding the valuation of investments in different asset classes
- An eye for detail and demonstrated ability to follow through while juggling multiple streams of parallel work
- Ability to identify the appropriate tools and techniques to accomplish objectives
