The role of SEO Consultant will involve leading and driving SEO strategies for a range of clients across various industries. Collaborating with like-minded, passionate individuals, you’ll help to deliver success and lead by example for other members of the SEO team.

What you’ll be doing
Creating and shaping effective SEO strategies that exceed the expectations of the client : meeting their business needs, KPIs, and goals set out at the early stages of the contract. These strategies could be related to sites hit by algorithm updates, business growth plans, website migrations, website internationalization, and more : so a good grasp of SEO is essential.
Delivering all manner of deliverables such as technical audits, log file analysis, page speed analysis, keyword research, and on-page recommendations.
More importantly, you’ll not only be able to carry out these tasks and deliver them on time to clients : you are able to communicate what they mean, prioritize the importance of each tactic based on the client's needs / capabilities in a way that they understand, and that drives them to make the changes required.
Regularly attending and holding meetings with clients, leading with confidence and ease to nurture relationships.
Reviewing strategies, analyzing data, providing actionable reports and audits.
Contributing ideas and solutions to the SEO department : any questions or issues any individual faces, we face together.
Communicating to other team members and clients who aren’t technically focused in a way that they understand : this requires in-depth understanding on your part and excellent communication skills.
An understanding of site analytics tools, such as Google Analytics / Omniture site catalyst, Google Search Console, etc.
What we’re looking for
2-3 years experience minimum in a purely SEO-based role.
Experience in developing and executing SEO strategies for clients.
Solid understanding of :
- Technical SEO, its importance and the major components that affect site performance.
- On-page SEO and content (EEAT) : Outside of the fundamentals such as how content ties into strategy and algorithm updates.
- Off-site SEO and the role links play in a campaign.
- How these all relate to one another and how to communicate about them to different audiences (stakeholders, marketing, SEO consultants, etc).
Knowledge or experience of working with CMS systems.
Strong organizational and presentation skills.
Exceptional communication skills.
The ability to give and receive feedback in a constructive, kind manner.
A keen and interested disposition and attitude.
