Title: Associate Clinical Director
Basic Function: Assist Chief Clinical Officer in all clinical functions while assisting in supervision of the clinical management of all programs. Leads and directs all outpatient services.
Reports To: Chief Clinical Officer Company Manager: Chief Clinical Officer
Hours: 40 hours a week with on-call
Salary: Base salary plus performance bonus Overtime: Not Allowed
Evaluations: Annual Evaluation
Education: Master's degree with Licensure in Human Services related field is preferred. Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in managing programs for treatment of
Substance Abuse Disorders.
Responsibilities:
1. Confer with Chief Clinical Officer in scheduling clinical services to meet the needs of all Cornerstone programs.
- Supervise all Intensive Outpatient Program, Therapist team and Family Therapy Services, Continuing Care Program and Support Living Program to meet the needs of patients and facility.
- Assist Chief Clinical Officer in supervision of all COR programs.
- Confer with the Chief Clinical Officer for strategic planning for clinical services and submit annual budget proposal for all programs listed above.
- Collaborate with Chief Clinical Officer to arrange and provide employee educational services to meet facility needs.
- Assist Clinical Program Directors and Managers in staff development and supervision.
- Assist in monitoring all treatment teams.
- Assist in identifying and developing education for all COR employees that creates clinical excellence for programming.
- Supervise Continuing Care Recovery Coaches and Recovery Monitoring to meet continuing care needs of discharged patients.
- Confer with Director of Marketing to develop communication materials necessary to meet external communication goals.
- Collaborate with admissions, AO and clinical programs to ensure excellent delivery of treatment planning and services.
- Serve on assigned committees.
- Participate in staff education programs as directed by Chief Clinical Officer.
- Participate in Community Education and Professional Education programs as required by Chief Clinical Officer.
- Provide direct patient care when necessary to ensure that client needs are being met in each program.
- Submit KPI reports as required by the Chief Clinical Officer or to comply with committee assignments.
- Participate in approved outreach activities that further Cornerstone's mission and vision.
- Ensures that programs services are provided within budgetary guidelines.
- Monitor and maintain adherence to regulations as defined by COR policy the Joint Commission and Tennessee State Licensure
- Other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the Chief Clinical Officer to meet the needs of the organization.
Skills: Candidates must possess above average skills in verbal and written communication, employee supervision skills, experience with Quality Improvement programs, ability to contribute to and follow a strategic plan, ability to formulate and follow a budget, and a demonstrated ability to lead individuals in a team effort.
