Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Supervision
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the facility’s admissions department
Provide coaching, mentorship, and professional development for the Admissions Team
Ensure staff maintain professionalism and provide an exceptional intake experience
Operational Excellence
Identify opportunities to streamline the admissions process and enhance efficiency
Maintain compliance with corporate intake standards and regulations
Collaborate with the CEO, VP of Admissions, and Facility Leadership to achieve shared goals
Ensure proper documentation of consult guidelines, callbacks, and intake retrieval system software
Patient & Referral Management
Ensure staff accurately collect screening information from patients and families
Maintain a working knowledge of substance use disorders and treatment options
Support referral sources and community partners by ensuring timely communication and professional representation of the facility
Availability & On-Call Support
Ensure 24-hour staff coverage by maintaining an on-call schedule
Step in to perform Facility Admissions Specialist duties when needed
Qualifications & Skills:
✔ Education: High School Diploma (College coursework preferred)
✔ Experience: Previous experience in admissions, healthcare, or crisis intake services is a plus
✔ Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills
✔ Technical Skills: Basic computer proficiency and typing skills
✔ Knowledge of Substance Use Disorders: Familiarity with chemical dependency, crisis intervention, and treatment options
✔ Marketing & Customer Service: Experience in referral management and patient engagement
✔ CPR Certification: Must be CPR certified or willing to obtain certification
Additional Requirements:
If in recovery, must have two years of continuous, verifiable sobriety
Must pass a criminal background check
Maintain a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Must be able to travel as needed
Physical Requirements:
✔ Ability to walk within the facility and premises as needed
✔ Frequently ascend and descend stairs
✔ Lift and move up to 30 lbs as needed
