JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION TITLE: Facility CFO - multi site
DEPARTMENT: Finance
REPORTS TO: Corporate CFO
SUPERVISES: Supervises (n/a)
I. POSITION SUMMARY:
The Regional CFO will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations for specific divisions or locations within the company, planning and monitoring their financial strategy, guiding and directing any changes to that strategy, and maintaining its fiscal stability. They will collaborate with the executive leadership team to establish long-range goals, strategies, plans, and policies and ensure site compliance to established state and federal guidelines.
II. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists with the preparation of all financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, shareholder reports, tax returns, and governmental agency reports.
- Ensure the timely reporting of key financial data and updates to the CFO, CEO, Board of Directors, and other key stakeholders.
- Ensure legal and regulatory compliance regarding all financial functions. This includes tax planning and compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
- Provide monthly operational and financial reports to Facility CEO, departmental leaders and other executives on a prescribed basis (weekly, monthly, quarterly, etc.)
- Compares sales and profit projections to actual figures and budgeted expenses to actual expenses; makes or oversees any necessary adjustments to future projections and budgets.
- Participates in the annual planning and budget process and suggests improvements to current methods and calculations.
- Analyzes assigned operations to identify areas in need of reorganization, downsizing, or elimination to meet or maintain established metrics.
- Works with the corporate CFO and other executives to coordinate planning and establish priorities for the planning process.
- Studies industry trends and projects their impact on site revenue and future growth potential.
- Identifies opportunities for expansion into new product areas.
- Works with finance and operational executives to evaluate and provide market analysis for potential M&A activities.
III. ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:
A. Education and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance required.
- Certified Public Accountant designation preferred.
- Five to eight years of experience in financial management required.
- Demonstrate excellent communication (written and verbal) skills required.
- Comfortable working with all levels of management.
B. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
- Excellent knowledge of data analysis, risk management, and forecasting methods.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software.
- Proficient in database and accounting computer application systems.
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with referrals, other members of management, coworkers, patients, potential patients and families.
- Maintain appropriate professional boundaries and confidentiality, including a working knowledge of 45 CFR “Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act” and 42 C.F.R. Part 2 “Confidentiality of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Patient Records” with respect to patient and potential patient identifying information and health information. This position has unrestricted access to identifying information and health information concerning patients, potential patients and participants.
- Must maintain a professional demeanor and appearance, must not appear impaired or disoriented, but rather must present coherent and articulate speech, kept appearance, alert, oriented, and responsive to patients', potential patients’ and families’ needs and concerns.

C. Physical Requirements:
- Able to continuously sit for prolonged periods of time up to eight hours per day.
- Must be able to access various departments of a given location.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 15 lbs.
- Some travel required.

- Regular attendance; including conference calls and onsite meetings, as necessary

- Pass a criminal background check.
- Maintain a valid driver’s license, personal automobile liability insurance, and a driving record permitting coverage under company’s automobile liability policy if necessary.
