Our Red Oak campus offers a unique blend of clinical rehabilitation, 12 step addiction recovery, proven addiction therapy services, family counseling, and experiential and adventure therapy. The Willows at Red Oak offers a sanctuary for young women to focus on healing and help prepare them for fulfilling, post-treatment lives. Foothills at Red Oak, our adolescent treatment program for boys, treats trauma, mental health issues, substance abuse, grief and loss, and process addictions.

Using a holistic approach, our team supports clients on their path to self-love, self-acceptance, and self-awareness. Working closely with the Finance Manager, the Finance Coordinator plays a crucial role in providing continuing support to our clients and their families. As this position speaks directly with our clients and their families, strong communication skills and confidentiality are a must. The ideal candidate has Quickbooks knowledge with a clear understanding of medical and insurance billing.
Responsibilities:
- Provide clear communication to all clients’ families regarding their financial matters including invoices, payments and payment agreements
- Create and send Superbills to clients
- Complete daily tasks of Accounts Receivable and collections, including preparing invoices and posting payments in QuickBooks
- Pull EOBs from insurance payors and post insurance payments
- Oversee incoming mail, post payments received in the main, scan insurance correspondence
- Maintain client Excel files
- Assist with insurance procedures as needed and answer family questions regarding insurance
- Set up systems for financial controls to ensure all collections are done accurately and in a timely manner
- Assist Finance Manager with Accounts Payable preparation and entry each, as needed
- Participate in process improvement initiatives in accounting process
- Create helpful systems to easily maneuver through the accounting processes
- Coordinate and communicate with management on a regular basis
- Assist with phone coverage in a professional and knowledgeable manner

Minimum Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Associates degree in Accounting or 2 years of Accounting experience
- Customer Service experience
- Clear understanding of medical and insurance billing
- Should be detail-oriented and adaptable to effectively complete several tasks under a deadline
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in A/R and A/P
- Quickbooks knowledge
