Location: Cummington, MA

Position: Massachusetts Impaired Driving (MID) Counselor

Job Description:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments to determine clients' needs and treatment goals.
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.
  • Providing individual and group counseling to clients.
  • Delivering evidence-based therapy and education on addiction and recovery.
  • Monitoring client progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Substance Abuse Counselor (CADC, LADC I or LADC II) in Massachusetts.
  • Strong knowledge of addiction treatment, evidence-based therapies, and the recovery process.
  • Compassion, empathy, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience in a substance abuse treatment setting preferred.
