Position: Massachusetts Impaired Driving (MID) Counselor
Job Description:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments to determine clients' needs and treatment goals.
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.
- Providing individual and group counseling to clients.
- Delivering evidence-based therapy and education on addiction and recovery.
- Monitoring client progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Substance Abuse Counselor (CADC, LADC I or LADC II) in Massachusetts.
- Strong knowledge of addiction treatment, evidence-based therapies, and the recovery process.
- Compassion, empathy, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Experience in a substance abuse treatment setting preferred.
