What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) position at Addiction Rehab Centers?
The open position for BHT is for our new boutique facility opening in Mooresville, Indiana. We are hiring for all shifts. The BHT will be responsible for providing direct resident care providing a safe and therapeutic environment through daily assessments, treatment plan implementation with the provision of individual and group instruction of activities of daily living skills.
Your qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED
- Ability to use a computer for documentation and work related purposes
- Strong written, verbal and nonverbal interpersonal and professional communication skills are required.
- Demonstrates accountability for own actions
- Provides service in a willing and courteous manner
- Demonstrates ability to prioritize, organize and multi-task.
- Able to take direction well, but also be self-directed and motivated.
- Requires a high degree of responsibility and responsiveness.
- Deal effectively with patients, visitors, situations, and other Care Team members, while maintaining emotional control
Additional requirements
- Must be able to lift
- Must be available for orientation
- Previous behavioral health experience preferred
- Valid Indiana Drivers license
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and support in a behavioral health setting, ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations.
- Conduct intake assessments and maintain accurate medical documentation and records.
- Implement applied behavior analysis techniques and assist in crisis intervention as needed.
- Monitor vital signs and collect data to track patient progress.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to foster a supportive environment.
- Assist in developing treatment plans for individuals with various behavioral health needs.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
