POSITION DETAILS
At Addictions Recovery Center (ARC), we believe that data has the power to transform lives. The Data Analytics Manager plays a pivotal role in advancing our mission by leading efforts to collect, analyze, and interpret data that improves client outcomes and organizational effectiveness.
This role is designed for a strategic thinker with a strong technical background, who is passionate about improving behavioral health systems through data-driven insights. You’ll collaborate across departments to enhance service delivery, ensure regulatory compliance, and guide continuous quality improvement.

Key Responsibilities include:
Data Management & Integrity
• Oversee the collection, storage, and maintenance of program, client, and operational data across EHR systems and data platforms
• Develop and enforce data governance policies and best practices
• Ensure data security and compliance with HIPAA and other applicable regulations
• Train staff on accurate data entry and use of reporting tools
Data Analysis & Reporting
• Conduct data analyses to evaluate treatment outcomes, agency performance, and client engagement
Data Analytics
Manager
• Develop dashboards, visualizations, and reports to support leadership, clinical, and administrative teams
• Prepare reports for funders, board meetings, and regulatory compliance
Program Evaluation & Strategic Insight
• Collaborate with internal teams to establish KPIs and outcome measures
• Monitor effectiveness of programs and interventions, providing recommendations for improvement
• Identify trends and gaps in service delivery and access to care
Compliance & Grant Support
• Ensure timely and accurate data submission for grant and contract reporting
• Provide metrics and impact data to support funding proposals and compliance with Medicaid, HRSA, and other public health initiatives
• Assist in tracking progress toward agency strategic goals and grant deliverables
Stakeholder Engagement
• Present findings and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders
• Liaise with academic institutions, community partners, and external data consultants
• Support a culture of data literacy and transparency across the organization
System Improvement & Innovation
• Evaluate and recommend enhancements to EHR and reporting systems
• Partner with IT to streamline data workflows and improve user functionality
• Stay current on best practices, tools, and trends in healthcare data analytics and behavioral health reporting

Requirements
EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS & SKILLS
Education, Credentials and Skills should include:
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, IT, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred
• 3–5 years of experience in data analysis, program evaluation, and database management, preferably in healthcare or nonprofit settings
• Proficient in EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner), SQL, Microsoft Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
• Skilled in statistical software such as SPSS, R, or Python
• Familiarity with health data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR) and grant compliance metrics.
• Certifications such as CPHIMS or equivalent are a plus
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Compensation and benefits include:
• Most ARC employees are scheduled four-days a week to support their ability to maintain a healthy work and life balance; medical and sobering positions are scheduled to work three days a week
• Starting salary $75,000.00 - $86,250.00 per year, depending on credentials, skills, and experience
• Three (3) to six (6) weeks of Vacation accrued per year, based upon years of service
• Sick time is accrued for all employees based on regularly scheduled hours
• Ten (10) Paid Holidays each year: New Year’s, MLK Day, President’s Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day
