Position Details
Addictions Recovery Center, Inc (ARC) in Medford, Oregon is a behavioral health agency providing a trauma-informed, comprehensive continuum of substance use and co-occurring mental health disorder treatment services in Southern Oregon. We are seeking a full-time RN to join the ARC team in our Fresh Start Withdrawal Management medical program to provide trauma-informed patient care to clients during the early first steps of their recovery journey.
The successful candidates will work approximately 36 hours a week in our medically monitored detox and withdrawal management unit in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team of providers. Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Work under the direction of the Medical Director.
- Provide withdrawal management and care to patients in advance of potential admission into residential treatment.
- Work with clients and the public with a trauma-informed and compassionate approach.
- Maintain and administer medications as ordered.
- Maintain accurate patient records and medication logs.

Requirements:
Education, Credentials and Skills should include:
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse (RN) school of nursing
- Current Oregon Registered Nurse (RN) License
- Experience in addictions treatment or similar settings preferred
- Ability to perform pre-admission medical screening, nursing assessments, and collect other pertinent medical data.
- Maintain and follow provider orders and instructions.
- Accurately complete required chart notes and patient records.
- Passion for trauma-informed patient care and service for at-risk and vulnerable patients.
- Excellent communication and listening skills.
- Ability to work efficiently with frequent interruptions.
- Strong organizational abilities.
- Moderate computer proficiency, including MS office.
- Spanish bilingual preferred
Compensation and benefits include:
- Most ARC employees are scheduled four-days a week to support their ability to maintain a healthy work and life balance; medical and sobering positions are scheduled to work three days a week
- Starting wage ranging from $46.00 to $55.20 per hour, depending on credentials, skills and experience
- Three (3) to six (6) weeks of Vacation accrued per year, based upon years of service
- Sick time is accrued for all employees based on regularly scheduled hours
- Ten (10) Paid Holidays each year: New Year’s, MLK Day, President’s Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day.
