What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automotive Install Tech position at Addictive Desert Designs?
Summary of Key Responsibilities: Addictive Desert Designs is looking to hire an R&D Automotive Install Technician who will be involved in the continuous development and introduction of new innovative products to the market. This position is essential to the success of new product releases and requires team collaboration throughout the end-to-end process. Previous automotive and shop experience is essential to the success of this role.
Responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Ability to work independently
- Proper organization of shop tools and equipment
- Maintain, company owned, vehicles to be event ready
- Provide technical installation assistance to CSR team when needed
- Install & remove general aftermarket parts - such as lift kits, bumpers, LED lighting, intercoolers, etc.
- Basic prior automotive electrical knowledge - 12V wiring including lighting, winches, etc.
- Assist with logistics in acquiring/delivering vehicles used for R&D purposes
- Perform test fits of prototype parts and verify functionality of associated factory equipped features
Required Knowledge and Skills
- Mechanical skills
- Previous install experience
- Strong work ethic
- Strong attention to detail
- Willingness to learn
- Ability to collaborate with different departments
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to travel to events if needed
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to lift objects as much as 50 lbs.

Schedule: 8 hour shift - Day shift
Job Type: Full-time (Mon-Fri 7:00a to 4:00p)
Pay Range: $22.00 - $25.00 / hr
Work Location: In person at our facility in Chandler, AZ
Salary : $22 - $25
