Housekeeping and Laundry Worker

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in resident rooms and common areas, as well as managing laundry services, including washing, drying, and dry cleaning items. Your commitment to providing a clean and welcoming environment will enhance the overall experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to ensure a high standard of cleanliness.
• Launder linens, towels, and other items according to established procedures.
• Operate laundry equipment efficiently, including washers, dryers, and dry cleaning machines.
• Inspect all laundry items for stains or damage and take appropriate action to address issues.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when reordering is necessary.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping or laundry services, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean efficiently and effectively.
• Familiarity with dry cleaning processes is a plus.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Must be physically capable of performing the duties required, including lifting heavy items as needed.
• A positive attitude and commitment to providing exceptional service to guests.
