Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance practices. This role involves caring for various landscapes, including gardens and trees, while utilizing a range of tools and equipment to ensure the beauty and health of outdoor spaces.

Responsibilities

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
• Conduct tree care activities, including tree trimming and pruning to promote healthy growth. Also planting trees
• Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for various landscaping projects.
• Assist in building landscape features such as flower beds, patios, and retaining walls.
• Maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns.
• Carry out groundskeeping duties to keep outdoor areas clean and aesthetically pleasing.
• Monitor plant health and apply fertilizers or pest control measures as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in landscape maintenance or related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of tree care practices, including proper trimming techniques.
• Familiarity with power tools (e.g., lawn mowers, trimmers) and hand tools (e.g., shovels, rakes).
• Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues is a plus.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
