Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Repair Technician to join our team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining mechanical systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and Repair: Inspect and troubleshoot mechanical systems and equipment, identifying issues and determining necessary repairs.
- Maintenance: Perform routine preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
- Replacement and Installation: Replace or install mechanical components, such as bearings, gears, motors, and other parts as needed.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance, and repairs performed.
- Compliance: Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety standards and company policies.
- Collaboration: Work with other technicians and departments to resolve mechanical issues and complete projects.
- Upgrades: Recommend and implement equipment upgrades or modifications to improve system performance.
- Tools and Equipment: Use and maintain tools and diagnostic equipment in good working order.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 1 years of experience in mechanical repair or a related field.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on skills.
- Knowledge of industrial safety practices and procedures.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment effectively.
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 45 pounds.
- Stand, crouch, or work in confined spaces for extended periods.
