Addison Central School DistrictSubstitute2024-2025Addison Central School District is seeking a motivated, creative individual to substitute in our classrooms, grades 6-8 at Middlebury Union Middle School for the 2024-2025 school year. This position is full time and daily assignment is based on the needs of the school for that particular day. You will be responsible to follow lesson plans, manage classrooms effectively, and instruct the students in the continued learning environment of a classroom setting. An individual must meet at least one of the following: -A.Hold or be eligible to hold a valid teaching license in the state of Vermont or any other state.-B.Hold or be eligible to hold a valid professional/technical license/certification issued by the state of Vermont that is applicable to the programs or services provided in the school.-C.Hold or be eligible to hold an undergraduate degree from an accredited college, high school diploma.-Relevant experience and/or training that demonstrate fitness for substitute teaching through alternative methods to A, B, and C (above) as approved by the Superintendent or his/her designee.All accepted applicants are required to complete a Criminal Background Check (fees apply) and Mandatory online training.
