What are the responsibilities and job description for the Analyst, Portfolio Operations position at Addison Group?
Peninsula based VC firm seeks a recent grad with finance focused experience at a VC or tech startup. This role will support all aspects of the firm’s business including investments, operations, finance, and administration. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with an eagerness to learn, and has strong organizational skills and strong interpersonal skills with an outgoing personality. The role will provide an opportunity for hands on learning and mentoring in a small team sized environment. This is a hybrid role working onsite 5 days per week in Palo Alto.
Requirements :
- 1-2 year experience in finance (internships or work experience) at a VC firm or Tech Startup (targeting a 2023 or 2024 grad).
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably with coursework in finance, accounting or data analytics.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, highly organized and proactive.
- Flexible self-starter who can manage and complete projects across different disciplines.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Google workspace, Airtable, Notion, etc.
- Outgoing personality with strong interpersonal skills, including both written and verbal.
