Role : Applications Support Specialist
Location : Oklahoma City, OK (hybrid)
Pay Rate Range : Between $75,000 - $95,000 per year depending on experience.

Position Overview :
This hybrid role focuses on supporting, maintaining, and optimizing business applications across various platforms. The ideal candidate will have technical expertise, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities :
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for business applications, addressing user issues promptly and accurately.Configure, maintain, and optimize applications to meet evolving business needs.Monitor application performance, identify potential issues, and implement effective resolutions.Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to deploy updates, patches, and integrations.Assist in the integration of applications with other business systems.Develop and maintain technical documentation, including user guides and troubleshooting procedures.Train and support end-users to maximize application efficiency and adoption.Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems.Technical Skills :
Proficiency in code and scripting languages, such as YAML , JSON , Python , and PowerShell or related language.Familiarity with Java development and deployment is preferred.Experience with IIS web server technologies for hosting and managing applications.Expertise in both Linux and Windows server environments , ensuring cross-platform functionality and support.Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Minimum 2 years of experience in application support, IT support, or related roles.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a focus on root-cause analysis.Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a hybrid environment.Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.Preferred Qualifications :
Experience with ERP systems, CRM platforms, or enterprise software.Familiarity with SQL or other database query languages.Knowledge of ITIL processes or related certifications.Why choose Addison?
