Job Title: Benefits Manager
Location: Denver, CO
Pay: $100k - 120k
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree ideal
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in benefits administration
- Experience processing benefits for over 500 people
- Experience handling Leave of Absence (LOA) programs through third-party vendors and complex benefits issues (e.g., stock loss carriers).
Responsibilities:
- Design and manage employee benefits programs, including health, retirement, wellness plans, and ancillary benefits.
- Maintain competitive benefits packages and ensure compliance with 401(k) audits and regulatory requirements.
- Facilitate insurance renewals and annual open enrollment processes, including HRIS configuration and employee support.
- Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with benefits providers, brokers, and consultants.
- Ensure compliance with ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, and other regulatory standards through regular audits.
- Analyze program utilization and costs, providing strategic recommendations to leadership and managing the benefits budget.
- Develop and implement benefits policies that align with employee needs and organizational goals.
- Oversee leave of absence programs, including vendor management, employee guidance, and benefit premium collection.
- Collaborate with HR, finance, and legal teams to align benefits programs with company objectives.
- Monitor vendor performance, address service issues, and identify opportunities for program improvements.
