Job Description
- Drive the analysis and reporting of outbound freight costs, including cost per mode, mile, and variances by customer and product mix.
- Oversee the monitoring of freight expense targets and provide strategic insights to reduce costs and optimize profitability.
- Lead the review of large datasets to explain variances in forecast, budget, and prior-year performance for executive stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain advanced financial models to enhance forecasting accuracy and streamline budget processes.
- Offer expert guidance to enhance business performance and reduce costs.
- Support leaders with analytics and reports focused on inbound and outbound freight costs.
- Conduct complex ad hoc analyses to support key business objectives.
- Establish and promote the use of KPIs, dashboards, and metrics to track trends and identify risks for senior management.
- Enhance dashboards, reports, and scorecards for cross-functional teams.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education and Professional Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in finance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
