What are the responsibilities and job description for the Entry Level Finance Administrator position at Addison Group?
The Finance Administrator will provide general support to the accounting department in the form of helping with inputting journal entries, assisting with month end activities, Accounts Payable/ Receivable, and processing invoices.
-Apply accounting principles, regulations, and policies to all work duties
-Assist with regular bank reconciliations, perform daily bank account deposits
-Keep sensitive information confidential and assist with Accounting Manager
-Perform general office support like filing, mail scanning and other administrative tasks
-Maintain, verify, and update numerous ledgers and reconciliations
-Provide assistance with invoices and payments, downloading reports from various systems
-Help provide and prepare information for reports in a timely manner
-Demonstrate comfortability with general accounting practices and proficient computer skills
-Need to be detail oriented, self-starters, and good at working collaboratively.
The ideal candidate-
Background in Finance and Accounting with the intent to make this their career.
1-2 years of accounting experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in a general ledger system such as Quick Books
Proficient in Microsoft applications such as Excel
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Reading comprehension skills strong enough to read and interpret financial documents
General knowledge and understanding of accounting procedures
Comfortable in an office environment
Ability to perform mathematical calculations quickly and accurately
