Job Responsibilities:
- Carry out tasks as outlined in the sales compensation plan.
- Assist Territory Sales Managers in identifying and targeting new sales opportunities within the multifamily industry.
- Conduct initial research on potential clients and business development opportunities.
- Support senior sales associates in preparing sales proposals, quotes, and contracts.
- Provide ongoing assistance to existing clients by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and following up to ensure satisfaction while uncovering additional sales opportunities.
- Use CRM tools to track customer interactions, sales activities, and maintain up-to-date records of leads, opportunities, and client communication.
- Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments. Conduct market analysis to identify new growth areas, market potential, and customer preferences.
- Gain a deep understanding of the company’s products, services, and solutions related to multi-housing construction. Stay informed on industry best practices and emerging technologies.
- Monitor sales performance, generate regular reports on activities, accomplishments, and challenges, and analyze sales data to identify improvement areas and create action plans.
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance product knowledge and sales abilities.
- Work collaboratively with other departments such as marketing, product development, and customer support to ensure effective coordination and alignment of company efforts. Provide valuable feedback to contribute to the company’s strategic goals and growth.
- Travel for client meetings, industry events, and sales activities, requiring effective time management and organizational skills.
- Continuously develop sales skills and knowledge through training programs, webinars, and self-directed learning to improve performance and contribute to team success.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
- Report quality issues as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or a similar field is beneficial but not required.
- Proven track record in developing and executing sales strategies that meet business objectives.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Strategic thinker with problem-solving abilities, capable of analyzing market trends, identifying opportunities, and creating actionable plans to foster growth.
- Results-driven with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and surpassing business goals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM software, sales tracking tools, and digital marketing platforms.
- Willingness and ability to travel to meet clients and attend industry events.
