This role is pivotal in driving financial efficiency and strategic decision-making by bridging the gap between business needs and financial analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial modeling, data analysis, and business process improvement. Key Responsibilities : Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements. Develop financial models, forecasts, and reports to support strategic planning and decision-making. Evaluate and recommend enhancements to current business processes and financial systems. Assist in budget preparation, monitoring, and variance analysis. Provide insights on key financial metrics and develop dashboards to present data effectively. Work closely with IT teams to implement and maintain financial software and systems. Support the preparation of presentations for executive leadership and stakeholders. Monitor and ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies. Required Skills and Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Proven experience as a Financial Analyst, Business Analyst, or a similar role. Strong proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel; experience with financial tools like Tableau, Power BI, or SAP preferred. Knowledge of ERP systems and financial software. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data clearly. Familiarity with SQL and data analysis tools is a plus. Preferred Qualifications : MBA, CPA, or CFA certification. Experience in a specific industry, such as banking or credit union.
