Position: Human Resources Coordinator
Location: Irwin, PA

Pay: $22-24/hr
Summary
The Human Resources Coordinator supports HR operations by administering payroll and benefits, maintaining personnel records, ensuring compliance with employment regulations, and providing general HR and administrative support.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll Administration
- Process time and attendance data for payroll and temporary staff.
- Maintain employee records and ensure accurate payroll processing.
- Prepare payroll-related reports including salary, tax, and benefit data.
- Support employees with payroll-related inquiries.
Benefits Administration
- Coordinate benefits enrollment and maintain related records.
- Reconcile benefit invoices and liaise with providers.
- Administer leave of absence programs (FMLA, STD, LTD, etc.).
- Respond to employee benefits inquiries and ensure COBRA compliance.
General HR Support
- Update HRIS with personnel changes.
- Maintain personnel files and process employee status changes.
- Support onboarding, offboarding, and employee communications.
- Assist with disability and workers' compensation claims.
Office Administration
- Support new hire onboarding and workstation setup.
- Coordinate company events and visitor logistics.
- Manage office supplies, mail distribution, and vendor communications.
- Track departmental metrics and assist with internal audits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
- 3–5 years’ HR experience, including payroll and benefits.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage multiple priorities.
- Manufacturing industry experience preferred but not required.
