The HR Generalist will be responsible for a wide range of human resource activities, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, compliance, employee relations, performance management, and HR policy implementation. Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, resume screening, interviews, and offer negotiations.
- Coordinate and facilitate new hire onboarding, including orientation, paperwork, and training.
- Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to attract top talent.
- Maintain and update job descriptions and ensure alignment with company goals.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns, providing guidance and conflict resolution.
- Foster a positive workplace culture through engagement initiatives and recognition programs.
- Assist managers and employees with performance improvement plans and career development discussions.
- Conduct exit interviews and analyze trends to improve employee retention.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
- Serve as a liaison between employees and benefit providers to resolve issues.
- Assist in payroll processing, ensuring accuracy in employee records and pay calculations.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws (FMLA, FLSA, ADA, etc.).
- Maintain and update HR policies, employee handbook, and company procedures.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure accurate record-keeping and legal compliance.
- Coordinate safety programs and workplace compliance initiatives.
- Support managers with performance evaluations and goal-setting processes.
- Develop and deliver employee training programs on compliance, leadership, and professional development.
- Identify skill gaps and recommend training opportunities for workforce development.
- Maintain and update HRIS (Human Resource Information System) with employee records.
- Generate HR reports and analytics for management decision-making.
- Track HR metrics such as turnover rates, engagement levels, and training completion.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in human resources or related role.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, HR best practices, and compliance regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Proficiency in Paycom HRIS software, Microsoft Office Suite, and ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems).
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
Salary : $70,000 - $80,000
