The HR Generalist will be responsible for a wide range of human resource activities, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, compliance, employee relations, performance management, and HR policy implementation. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented professional who enjoys problem-solving and working with employees at all levels of the organization.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, resume screening, interviews, and offer negotiations.
  • Coordinate and facilitate new hire onboarding, including orientation, paperwork, and training.
  • Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to attract top talent.
  • Maintain and update job descriptions and ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns, providing guidance and conflict resolution.
  • Foster a positive workplace culture through engagement initiatives and recognition programs.
  • Assist managers and employees with performance improvement plans and career development discussions.
  • Conduct exit interviews and analyze trends to improve employee retention.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
  • Serve as a liaison between employees and benefit providers to resolve issues.
  • Assist in payroll processing, ensuring accuracy in employee records and pay calculations.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws (FMLA, FLSA, ADA, etc.).
  • Maintain and update HR policies, employee handbook, and company procedures.
  • Conduct internal audits to ensure accurate record-keeping and legal compliance.
  • Coordinate safety programs and workplace compliance initiatives.
  • Support managers with performance evaluations and goal-setting processes.
  • Develop and deliver employee training programs on compliance, leadership, and professional development.
  • Identify skill gaps and recommend training opportunities for workforce development.
  • Maintain and update HRIS (Human Resource Information System) with employee records.
  • Generate HR reports and analytics for management decision-making.
  • Track HR metrics such as turnover rates, engagement levels, and training completion.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in human resources or related role.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, HR best practices, and compliance regulations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Proficiency in Paycom HRIS software, Microsoft Office Suite, and ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems).
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.

Salary : $70,000 - $80,000
