What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Generalist position at Addison Group?
The HR Generalist is part of the Americas region, which includes 19 sites in North and South America. This role supports 5-8 sites and functional groups. Primary Accountabilities/Functions:
- Focused on talent acquisition for assigned sites and functional groups
- Supports 5 - 8 company sites and functional groups
- Partners with regional manager and site managers of assigned areas
- Acts as a primary point of contact for the employees and managers at assigned sites
- Proactively supports the delivery of HR processes at assigned sites
- Builds and maintains strong business relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Actively identifies opportunities and comes up with proactive solutions
- Works with managers on succession plans for key talent and positions
- Lead employee investigations
- Respond to unemployment claims and third-party charges
- Gather and analyze data to identify trends and make recommendations, such as employee retention and exit interview data
- Lead meetings with internal team(s) as it relates to sites or functional groups
- Ability to prioritize and effectively anticipate and respond to issues as they arise
- Other duties as assigned by the HR Manager
- Up to 20% travel within the U.S.
Must Have:
Year(s) of Experience: 3 years of HR experience
Industry: Manufacturing is preferred & union experience is preferred, but not required
Education: Bachelor's Degree or tenure
Software: MS Office Suite
Salary : $80,000 - $95,000
