Position: HR Manager
Location: Garner, NC
Contract: 1 month
Pay: $30-40/hr
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR policies that support compliance and align with organizational goals; monitor changes in employment law and ensure internal practices are updated accordingly.
- Oversee payroll and benefits administration, ensuring alignment with state-specific requirements.
- Act as a trusted point of contact for employees, providing support, resolving conflicts, and fostering a collaborative environment.
- Handle employee relations issues with professionalism and fairness.
- Collaborate with site leadership to ensure HR strategies align with operational needs and promote overall success.
- Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts by enhancing hiring processes, conducting interviews, and building partnerships with external networks and institutions.
- Champion performance management practices, including coaching managers on delivering feedback and promoting employee growth.
- Provide guidance to supervisors on employee relations matters such as disciplinary actions, terminations, and promotions.
- Oversee safety training programs and compliance, investigate incidents, and report findings as necessary.
- Leverage data and HR metrics to support informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Proven success in a comprehensive HR role within a manufacturing, logistics, or related operational setting.
- Strong working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage across all levels.
- Familiarity with workplace safety programs, including OSHA compliance and training.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems (preferably ADP Workforce Now) and data management tools.
- HR certifications (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) are a plus.
