About the Company - We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Representative to join our team. This role supports essential HR functions, including maintaining employee engagement, overseeing payroll system maintenance, assisting with training initiatives, and managing employee data. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, be proactive, and enjoy collaborating across teams to ensure excellent employee experience. Once per month of travel to other local branches.
Responsibilities -
- Assist with maintaining and enhancing employee engagement programs to promote a positive workplace culture.
- Process employee information, including personal data, compensation, benefits, tax data, and attendance records.
- Verify payroll changes with system-generated reports and ensure data accuracy in the HR payroll system.
- Assist in conducting orientation sessions to explain benefits and onboard new employees.
- Maintain employee files and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Compile data from personnel records to prepare reports for management.
- Support training initiatives by organizing sessions, tracking attendance, and preparing materials.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, payroll, and benefits.
- Collaborate with HR leadership to ensure smooth administration of employment activities, including applications and evaluations.
Qualifications -
- This position requires on-site work, five days a week at our office location.
- High school diploma or GED required; additional HR-related certifications or coursework preferred.
- 2 years of experience in HR or administrative roles, with a focus on payroll systems and employee engagement programs.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
