Job Description
The Learning & Development Senior Specialist will be responsible for managing the company’s training programs, ensuring employees have access to professional development opportunities that align with business objectives. This role will lead the learning management system, collaborate with leadership, and process effective training programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement training programs that align with business goals and employee growth.
- Partner with leadership to assess skill gaps and recommend learning solutions.
- Manage and enhance the company’s learning management system (LMS).
- Design and execute training content, ensuring it is engaging and impactful.
- Track training metrics, compliance, and overall program effectiveness.
- Stay up to date with best practices in L&D, bringing innovative solutions to the organization.
- Ensure training programs meet industry and quality standards, including ISO requirements.
- Utilize technology to improve accessibility and effectiveness of training programs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, Learning Systems, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in Learning & Development or Training.
- Experience managing training programs within a manufacturing, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or highly regulated environment.
- Strong communication and facilitation skills with the ability to engage employees at all levels.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills to drive learning initiatives.
- Knowledge of instructional design and adult learning principles.
- Preferred experience with LMS in a multi-site, manufacturing setting.
- Experience with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, Quality, Safety, and Food Safety training is a plus.
- Master’s degree in Business or HR is preferred.
