What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler position at Addison Group?
Responsibilities:
- Follow all safety policies, procedures, and wear appropriate PPE.
- Identify, report, and correct unsafe conditions.
- Perform daily utility rounds and basic troubleshooting of equipment.
- Process, charge, drum, and load various materials, including MT-17 and Vinyl Ester blends.
- Assist in shipping and receiving, including loading/unloading materials and finished products.
- Support inventory control by assisting with cycle counts and tank measurements.
- Perform environmental duties such as waste transfer and solvent handling.
- Prepare equipment and permits for maintenance work.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Participate in safety initiatives, including the Safety Action Committee and PHA studies.
- Demonstrate teamwork and communicate effectively with management and team members.
- Train and assist new employees in job functions.
- Use computer-based systems as required for job duties.
- Conduct routine scale verifications and audit documentation.
- Work overtime and complete special projects as needed.
Salary : $28 - $29
