Mechanical Project Engineer

Our Pittsburgh, PA based manufacturing client is expanding and looking to add a mechanical design engineer to their team. The candidate will be responsible for mechanical design and drafting for customer specific capital equipment orders as well as creating BOM’s.

Key Job Requirements :

• Capital Equipment / Machine Design / Drafting in Pro E Wildfire 4.0 and SolidWorks 2021.
• Tooling / Fixture Design -Estimates and Designs tooling for various EH technologies.
• Create and maintain accurate change logs and issue logs during machine build process. Follow company ECN process to correct design issues.
• Support electrical and hydraulic schematic drafting in AutoCAD
• Support capital equipment machine start-up and debug / trouble shooting during all phases of the build.
• Support purchasing by communicating with vendors to ensure designs are manufactured efficiently as possible. Candidate will also support purchasing with technical details as necessary.
• Communicates with Project Management to ensure all customer expectations are considered in design phase.
• Maintains accurate records of tooling designs.

• Work with global team members to support the design and fabrication of machines built at their sites.

Target Salary Range $90K-$100K
