Our client is looking for a National Account Manager responsible for achieving sales goals for major retail automotive, grocery, and mass retail accounts in the U.S. This role requires collaboration with sales and marketing teams to design and implement national sales and marketing programs aimed at increasing profitability and meeting company objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales/Marketing, or related field preferred.
- 4-7 years experience with national or major accounts in the Consumer Product Goods industry.
- 5 years of experience in an OUTSIDE sales role, with 2 years of instructional design experience.
- Auto Appearance industry sales or car care experience a plus.
- Proven track record in sales, marketing, category management, or merchandising to increase product sales and distribution.
- E-commerce experience a plus.
- Working knowledge of analytics and financial reporting.
- Ability to develop competitive fact-based selling strategies from category management and consumer insights for key accounts.
- Ability to demo products, present product features and benefits both virtually and in person.
- Strong communication skills both oral and written, at all levels, externally and internally.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office, Teams and PowerPoint.
- Valid driver’s license.
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:
- Ability to demo products
- Ability to lift 25lbs
- Travel up to 50% domestic and Canada
- The schedule includes weekends as necessary
Responsibilities:
- Develop and design engaging, impactful sales training programs using proven adult learning principles and instructional design techniques.
- Deliver virtual and in-person training sessions for sales associates, fostering a collaborative and productive learning environment.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate the training needs of sales associates and leaders, aligning initiatives with business goals and stakeholder input.
- Analyze training program effectiveness by assessing key performance indicators and results, and implement improvements to enhance content and delivery methods.
- Oversee the management of internal training materials, schedules, and tailored learning plans to support the team’s growth.
- Mentor Sales Managers to cultivate high-performing sales teams, focusing on leadership best practices.
- Monitor Account Manager development, ensuring adherence to sales best practices during client interactions and other activities.
- Contribute to onboarding efforts by enhancing processes and programs for new sales associates, enabling their quick integration and success.

Salary : $95,000 - $105,000
