What are the responsibilities and job description for the Network Architect position at Addison Group?
Network Architect
6 month Contract-to-Hire
Onsite in New York, NY Monday-Thursday highly preferred
75-90 / hr W2 and $135-150k / yr with a $30-50k / yr bonus on top (individual performance and company performance based)
Required Tech / Experience
- IPv4 and IPv6 –renumbering, deployment, configuration
- Routing protocols
- Able to help more junior team members with answering questions, technical trainings if needed. (IPv4, IPv6, DNS, BGP, RPKI, RBLs, geolocation, and other technical topics)
- Security knowledge- recommend to clients, best practices for enhancement
- Provide architectural guidance on potential products and services.
Preferred Tech / Experience (Not required, but moves the candidate to the top of the list) :
Years’ Experience / Degree Requirements / Certification : 10 years is a MUST. 10-20 years ideal
You'll focus on deploying IPv6, enhancing security, delivering training on best practices, and providing architectural guidance to enrich both the networks and their teams.
