About the Role :
The Payment Posting Specialist will play a crucial role in a team responsible for managing a high volume of transactions, posting payments, and ensuring accuracy in financial records. Working closely with a team of 9, this role requires handling both electronic and manual transactions, balancing facility accounts, and effectively managing large payment volumes.
Key Responsibilities :
Post daily transactions as a team, with a goal of $5-$10 million processed daily.
Contact facilities or payors to request EOBs when necessary.
Track deposits and money posted using Excel spreadsheets.
Required Qualifications :
Minimum of 3-5 years of payment posting experience, ideally in a hospital setting.
Proficiency in Excel, including the ability to use filters and navigate large datasets; familiarity with pivot tables preferred.
