The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing complex, multi-faceted programs, combining technical knowledge with strategic leadership to deliver successful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Program Planning & Execution: Lead the development and execution of programs aimed at transforming the organization’s infrastructure and operations, with a specific focus on cloud migration and optimization.
- Strategic Leadership: Define program goals, establish priorities, and develop detailed roadmaps that align with business objectives, ensuring that programs are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Cloud Transformation Oversight: Manage the end-to-end process of cloud adoption, including strategy development, cloud architecture design, migration, and optimization across multiple cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders across IT, security, development, operations, and business teams to ensure alignment and the successful integration of cloud and infrastructure solutions.
- Vendor & Partner Management: Oversee the selection and management of external vendors and partners, ensuring they meet service level agreements (SLAs) and contribute to the program’s success.
- Risk & Issue Management: Identify potential risks and issues, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure the program remains on track through proactive problem-solving.
- Change Management: Drive the adoption of new technologies and processes within the organization, ensuring smooth transitions and providing support for teams adjusting to new ways of working.
- Program Performance & Reporting: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for the program, track progress, and provide regular updates to leadership on the status of initiatives, budget adherence, and resource utilization.
- Operational Efficiency: Focus on operational optimization by improving internal workflows, reducing inefficiencies, and leveraging cloud technologies to streamline processes.
- Continuous Improvement: Evaluate program performance and industry trends, recommending improvements or new strategies that further the organization’s infrastructure and cloud goals.
- Experience: 10 years of experience in program management with a focus on infrastructure, operations, or cloud transformation.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s degree or relevant certifications (PMP, PgMP, etc.) preferred.
- Technical Expertise: Solid understanding of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP), infrastructure architecture, and operations optimization techniques.
- Program Management: Proven experience managing large, complex programs from initiation to successful delivery, including budgeting, resourcing, and scheduling.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Strong ability to work with and influence senior leadership, cross-functional teams, and external partners to align on priorities and deliver outcomes.
- Risk Management: Experience in identifying, assessing, and mitigating program risks, with a focus on delivering successful results despite challenges.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and maintain clear, consistent communication throughout the program lifecycle.
- Cloud Certifications: Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Professional Cloud Architect are a plus.
- Process Improvement: Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies for driving operational improvements.
- Automation & DevOps: Familiarity with DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and automation tools is highly desirable.
- Agile/Scrum Methodologies: Experience working in Agile environments, with knowledge of Scrum and other agile frameworks.
