Level 1 Responsibilities
- Gather required information for material selection, dimensions, and third-party or owner-provided specifications.
- Track jobsite documentation, including RFIs, ASIs, and project changes.
- Coordinate with other trades and ensure proper documentation.
- Prepare submittals, schedules, and operation & maintenance (O&M) manuals.
- Estimate, count, and prepare change orders.
- Maintain QA procedures, logs, and issue tracking.
- Attend project meetings as assigned.
- Order, release, receive, and track materials and tool orders.
- Update project drawings with revised information.
- Estimate, prepare, and track change orders.
- Develop, implement, and monitor QA procedures.
- Oversee change management, including estimating and tracking change orders, implementing changes, and effectively communicating them to field teams and clients.
- Review project modifications to accurately capture added costs.
- Manage project schedules, subcontracting, and performance tracking.
- Monitor subcontractor and vendor performance.

To perform this job successfully, candidates must meet the following requirements:
Education & Experience
- High school diploma required.
- Two-year college degree or technical certification preferred.
- Minimum two years of relevant experience in construction or project coordination.
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and technical documents.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
- Strong mathematical skills, including basic arithmetic and unit conversions.
- Level 1: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
- Level 2: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, and estimating software, with a focus on financial and labor tracking.
- Level 3: Expertise in Microsoft Office, estimating, financial management, and labor tracking software.
- No specific certifications required.
- Level 1: No supervisory responsibilities.
- Level 2: May oversee Level 1 Project Engineers.
- Level 3: May oversee Level 1 and Level 2 Project Engineers.
- Occasional exposure to active construction sites and outdoor weather conditions.
- Moderate noise levels, with variations depending on the project environment.
- Frequent standing, walking, sitting, and use of hands for handling materials and documentation.
- Ability to lift up to 10 lbs frequently and 25 lbs occasionally.
- Requires close vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
