Job Description:

The Quotes Specialist will support customer inquiries and product quoting processes, ensuring accurate and timely service. This hybrid role requires a strong background in customer service, attention to detail, and familiarity with technical or scientific products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and edit quotes in Salesforce, meeting departmental targets for speed and accuracy.
• Assist customers with product selection, offering upsell and cross-sell recommendations when appropriate.
• Provide pre-sales support to sales teams and global customer networks.
• Ensure compliance with export and national security regulations in all transactions.
• Maintain detailed records in Salesforce, including customer interactions and quote statuses.
• Use technical knowledge to cross-reference products and suggest alternatives.
• Attend training sessions and team meetings to enhance product knowledge and compliance expertise.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 1-2 years in customer service, order entry, or quoting.
• Education: Degree in Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Salesforce and AS400 is a plus.
• Attributes: Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet metrics in a fast-paced environment.
• Additional Requirements: Clear 7-year county/federal background check and 9-panel drug screen (excluding marijuana).

Additional Details:

• Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite (Tuesday-Thursday) and 2 days remote. Increased onsite presence may be required during training.
• Shift: 8-hour shifts between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM.
