Addison Group has partnered with a Fortune 500 industry leader in the search for a Senior Accountant. This role offers an exciting opportunity to play a key role in financial reporting, account reconciliation, and financial planning & analysis (FP&A). The ideal candidate will bring strong accounting expertise, analytical skills, and a continuous improvement mindset to enhance internal controls and support business planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and participate in the monthly financial close process, ensuring the accurate and timely recording of financial transactions
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and variance reports, collaborating with business unit finance teams to address accounting issues
- Perform account reconciliations for designated functions within the business unit
- Develop and deliver monthly reporting packages, including analysis of actual results compared to prior periods, supporting both internal and external reporting
- Assist with accounting, analysis, and budgeting in collaboration with FP&A
- Engage with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance and process efficiency
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 4 years of relevant accounting experience
- CPA certification highly preferred
- Experience working with large ERP systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and a team-oriented mindset
- A continuous improvement approach, with a focus on optimizing financial processes
