SUMMARY:
Our client has been operating for many decades and manages significant assets. Since its founding, it has funded and overseen investments totaling billions of dollars across multiple regions. This position reports to the Senior VP and will also work with the COO, CFO, investment managers, finance, accounting, and other departments.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The key functions and responsibilities of this role will include (but are not limited to) the following:
- Provide analytical support and assist with project underwriting.
- Prepare monthly reports detailing key metrics, financial results, and variance analysis.
- Support Investment Managers in coordinating with third-party consultants and compiling weekly underwriting reports.
- Contribute to competitive market analysis for projects.
- Assist Investment Managers with performance reporting on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
- Identify opportunities for improving organizational performance.
- Reconcile transactions by verifying and correcting data.
- Analyze data, conduct comparative assessments, and make recommendations based on findings.
- Provide accurate, timely, and relevant reporting and analysis comparing actual results with historical data, budgeted figures, forecasts, and strategic plans.

- Exhibit strong intermediate skills in accounting, finance, and written communication to deliver thorough and insightful analysis.
- Act as a key support resource to the Senior Vice President and Chairman by providing analytical assistance in underwriting and managing investments.
- Demonstrate problem-solving abilities, managing responsibilities within the framework of the business plan, and proactively seeking guidance from senior management when challenges require decisions beyond individual authority.
- Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders by fostering positive relationships with team members.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A background in financial analysis, accounting, or project management required.
- Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, or related discipline is required.
- Prior experience in Residential Real Estate, Homebuilding, or Land development industry required
- Advanced Excel skills (must pass an advanced Excel proficiency test).
- Experience with statistical analysis and financial forecasting.
- Strong communication and listening skills with the ability to effectively understand and retain both written and verbal information.
- Highly detail-oriented and organized approach to task execution.
SALARY and BENEFITS:
- The salary range for this role is $120k - $135K depending upon experience
- This role is bonus eligible and the company offers competitive benefits
